Your Everyday Hero: Behnam

The Charity organization set up to help cancer patients which is known under the name of Behnam Daheshpour, in fact, bears the name of an Iranian youth who was attacked by cancer at the beginning of the seventeenth spring of his life and struggled with the disease for three years.
Unfortunately, his short life came to an end at the age of twenty-one despite different treatments inside and outside Iran.
When he was under treatment at the Shohada Hospital of Tajrish, he was deeply affected by the unpleasant condition of the patients in the (at the time) incomplete Oncology Building.
In spite of his serious illness, he was determined to complete the unfinished work of the building with a unique spirit an perseverance and toward this end organized the first charity Bazaar in 1995, and eventually founded a great movement by collecting aid through participation in the charity and artistic activities and art gatherings, and presenting the aid to the needy cancer patients of Shohada Hospital of Tajrish.
And now, the Behnam Daheshpour Charity Organization is proud to provide help to cancer victims.
